Marist College's Fashion Design program offers a hands-on, immersive learning experience. From your first semester, you'll blend design theory and history with real-world application, preparing you for a successful career.
The curriculum balances foundational courses like Fashion in Culture and Commerce and Creative Process with specialized training in design, textiles, draping, pattern making, garment construction, and computer-aided design. You'll culminate your studies by showcasing your own apparel collection at the annual Silver Needle Runway Fashion Show. Minors in Fashion Merchandising and Product Development are also available.
Program Outcomes
Graduates of our Fashion Design program will be able to:
